Jazz titans Mike Stern and the Yellowjackets join forces for a historic collaboration that both harkens back to the roots of the band (guitarist Robben Ford was a founding member) and extends its already formidable reach into uncharted music that combines classic and contemporary jazz, fusion and hints of R&B. These musical monsters shared the stage at the 2006 Montreal Jazz Festival and worked so well together that they planned to record and tour together. Labelmates on Heads Up, Stern and the 'Jackets plan to release their collaborative recording by mid-2008. Looking for dates both before and after the release.
